I’m Jonathan Holdaway (FPFS ACSI), Chartered Financial Planner, Fellow of the Personal Finance Society, Associate of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and Affiliate Member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

I have worked in financial services since 1982 and been a financial adviser since 1992.

I achieved my Financial Planning Certificate in 1993 and Advanced Financial Planning Certificate in 2001, which included ‘G60’ – acknowledged as one of the hardest exams to pass and required to advise upon Defined Benefit (final salary) scheme transfers.

In 2005, I was one of the first 600 members of the Chartered Insurance Institute to become a Chartered Financial Planner – widely considered the ‘gold standard’ for financial advisers.

As the first Chairman of the Personal Finance Society for Hampshire and Dorset in 2006, I was proud to remain serving on the committee after my two-year office and was made ‘Chartered Champion’ for the region in 2009, delivering higher level training and guidance to other financial advisers.

My wife Susie and I moved to Southern Spain in 2019 to enjoy the better weather and outdoor lifestyle. We have regular visits from our four adult children and three grand-daughters!
